MDS undertook the painting contract of this new build residential project in 2014. Being a complicated project spanning four storeys, a professional approach was required from the outset. The interior was a combination of gyprock and white set plaster.

A simple off-white colour was used to highlight the woodwork. The woodwork is a four-part Sikkens system (pine colour) inside and out and is undoubtedly the houses distinguishing feature winning the Master Painters Association’s Award for Excellence for Best Timber Finish in 2015. MDS still does regular maintenance on this residence to upkeep the wood’s integrity due to its proximity to the ocean.
